Where to start, where to start?? This wedding had so many fantastic elements...but mostly the couple, Angela and Jared made the day perfect. Their enthusiasm was completely infectious. Their theme was yellow daisies and film strips. Photography wise, we had a few thrills on this day: my new assistant, the always amazing Rachel Swain was in charge of the "photo booth." We had a beautiful back drop that matched the daisy yellow them and as the night went on the photo booth got lots of action! It will make for a great element in their album. Also, I had the extraordinary artist Bear Kirkpatrick doing his "diane arbus" themed take on the photo booth. Bear also shadowed Jared and the boys throughout the morning to capture that aspect of the day as a second shooter. A very memorable couple, a memorable day, and memorable photos.
Details...ceremony at First Parish Congregational in York by Linda Hirst; reception at the beautifully situated and always fun Elks Lodge in Portsmouth; flowers by York Flower Shop; and Clark Sillery of Fred Pappalardo Entertainment kept everyone dancing!
